Tracy Austin, B.A., M.A., is a Registered Psychotherapist and has been in private practice for over 25 years in the GTA.

Tracy blends psychotherapy and personal growth in a unique and powerful way. Her therapy sessions and group workshops are insightful, relaxed, uplifting and experiential, allowing participants to discover a deep sense of renewal, self-empowerment and joy.  She uses both traditional and non-traditional approaches such as mindfulness to help get her clients to their goals.

Tracy has received her BA from the University of Calgary with a focus on psychology and the study of east/west religions. Her Master’s degree is in Psychology from the accredited Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado.

She has worked in a local community mental health setting as a psychotherapist for York Region Mental Health, formerly in Thornhill, Ontario.  In clinical settings, she has worked with inpatient and outpatient clients as an addictions & assessment counselor for the Women’s Recovery Center at Boulder Community Hospital in Colorado.

Tracy has also led many mindfulness meditation groups and women’s groups for emotional-overeating. And, in the past, has served on the Board of Directors for the Toronto Kripalu Yoga Centre.

She is a certified member of the OACCPP (Ontario Association of Consultants, Counselors, Psychometrists & Psychotherapists) and is a Registered Psychotherapist with the CRPO (College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario).
