Tracy Austin, B.A., M.A., is a Registered Psychotherapist and has been in private practice for over 20 years in the GTA.

Tracy blends psychotherapy and personal growth in a unique and powerful way. Her therapy sessions and group workshops are insightful, relaxed, uplifting and experiential, allowing participants to discover a deep sense of renewal, self-empowerment and joy.  She uses both traditional approaches such as CBT and non-traditional approaches such as mindfulness to help get her clients to their goals and develop positive tools to change their lives.

Tracy has received her BA from the University of Calgary with a focus on psychology and the study of east/west religions. Her Master’s degree is in Psychology from the accredited Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado.

She has worked in a local community mental health setting as a psychotherapist for York Region Mental Health, formerly in Thornhill, Ontario.  In clinical settings, she has worked with inpatient and outpatient clients as an addictions & assessment counselor for the Women’s Recovery Center at Boulder Community Hospital in Colorado.

Tracy has also led many mindfulness meditation groups and women’s groups for emotional-overeating.  She has, in the past, also served on the Board of Directors for the former Toronto Kripalu Yoga Centre.

She is a certified member of the OAMHP (Ontario Assoc. of Mental Health Professionals) and is a Registered Psychotherapist with the CRPO (College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario).  Her psychological services are also integrated through the Dr. Bita Health Network that are supervised by a Registered Psychologist.

Services are covered by most private insurance plans.
